"This was a truly dynamic performance -- gaining the rapt attention of all the large audience -- who were immediately on their feet at the end in excited appreciation. The choir sang with complete assurance, projecting huge contrasts in dynamics, --- beautifully controlled soft singing, excellent clarity and balance in the numerous passages & (during) shattering moments of climax. --- the four soloists always singing magnificently and with great confidence. The orchestra provided numerous instrumental highlights. A special music experience for all privileged to be present."
